The mission of the Old Forge School District is to instill a passion for learning, cultivate the academic and analytical skills necessary for a prosperous and successful adult life, and develop responsible citizens committed to personal growth. At Old Forge Elementary, we are honored to be the place where those seeds are planted.

Our highly qualified and dedicated teachers work to provide rigorous, meaningful learning experiences while ensuring that every student has the opportunity to experience success. We believe that academic excellence and equity go hand in hand, and that every child deserves to be known, encouraged, and given the support needed to reach their full potential.

We also believe that a successful school is built on relationships. Parents and families are essential partners in their child's education, and we value the collaboration among families, teachers, counselors, support staff, and administration. Open communication and a shared commitment to our students allow us to celebrate their successes, navigate challenges, and continually work toward what is best for each child.
